Each dog has his or her own personality and needs. That's why we take the time with you and your pooch to learn about what we can do to achieve his/her greatest happiness when staying with us. This includes paying attention to routines, habits, likes/dislikes - as well as behavioural areas for us to work on together. Or we might need to administer medication -- no problem, and no extra charges.
For more than a 48-hour stay, it's important that we meet your dog ahead of time. We can do an in-home assessment where you live, or you can come out and visit our acreage.
When it's time for Camp, please ensure that you have filled out the Pooch Profile on this web site, have photocopies of vet records available for us (or the originals and we'll make copies), and have packed enough food and goodies, if you like. If you choose to include a blanket or bed to sleep on that's fine too, just please, not one that Grandma made! You know how pyjama parties can get...we don't want to see anything precious destroyed because of some doggy shenanigans.
As far as dropping of and picking up times go -- we're pretty flexible. After all, we live here! We may need to work around driving another dog, or the baby's doctors appointments, or something like that, but on the whole we're pretty well always available. We do require that you let us know when you'll be coming by, so we can schedule these other things accordingly (within about a 2-hour window ~ not to the minute!).

Brinx loves it when his pals sleep over! Whether they choose to sleep in their own beds, or in one of ours, rest assured they will have a comfortable night in our home away from home. All bedding and dishes are washed regularly to ensure that everything is kept clean and comfortable. We accept any length of stay, and rates are available for 30+days.
Is the distance a problem? We will pick up and drop off your dog from anywhere in or around Edmonton for just $15/trip.
